Here’s the best pizzeria in town according to ‘Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus’
There’s a local Facebook group that shares slices of information regarding the best pizza in Columbus. Pizza Connoisseurs of Columbus, with 61,806 group members, may just sound like an average group of pizza aficionados, but their recommendations are taken very seriously around town.
Every year, the group’s admin posts a poll on Facebook, where the thousands of members vote on the best pizza shops of the year. Honestly, this is my version of the Super Bowl. The enthusiasm of the people and their pizza is contagious.
This year, the “2023 Pizza Shop of Year” accolade goes to none other than JT’s Pizza & Pub, located at 2390 W Dublin Granville Rd. “I know when I personally go there, I have to park on Sawmill because they are always so busy,” said group admin, Nakimba Mullins.

JT’s Pizza & Pub is locally owned by Joe Hartnett, and their website emphasizes that they’re committed to using only high quality, fresh ingredients, while still providing large portions at a low cost.
