Ice cream bar with liquid nitrogen, plus more, coming to prominent Columbus attraction
I scream, you scream, we all scream for….the ice cream bar coming to COSI!
In a partnership with SSA Group, COSI Science Museum is renovating their Science2Go gift shop and transforming it with new decor, new, hands-on activities, and a food and beverage station, and, what some would find the most exciting – an ice cream bar.
“New features will include activities themed around outer space; animated, augmented-reality sand tables; specialty merchandise, including COSI Connects Kits, and an all-new ice cream bar,” said a statement by COSI.

This new ice cream bar will be called “Absolute Zero,” and along with offering a variety of frozen treats, some of their other offerings will be made with liquid nitrogen.
This fully re-designed space inside COSI will “…allow guests to play, learn, and shop for keepsakes to remember a full day of fun,” COSI’s statement emphasized.
According to a recent permit filed, this is projected to cost around $575,000 to complete.
COSI is located at 333 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
