Korean BBQ & hot pot concept ‘inspired by Michelin standards’ opening in Dublin

This winter, Dublin dwellers can warm up with Korean BBQ and hot pot at this new, all-you-can-eat restaurant, called PJ Hot Pot, opening at 6100 Sawmill Rd. this December.

“Hot pot is becoming popular all over America, so I really think it will go over well in Columbus,” said Joe Lin, a shareholder of the company, along with Peter Chen.

Lin and Chen said they have plans to, “…redefine the culinary landscape of the Columbus metropolitan area…We believe that dining is as much about the environment as it is about the food. Inspired by Michelin standards in New York, our restaurant’s decor promises an ambiance that is both luxurious and inviting.”

Both Lin and Chen’s restaurant group’s legacy spans over two decades. They currently operate seafood boils in the Columbus area, including Cajun Boil Bar and Pier 11, along with other Asian fusion bistros, Blue Ginger and Sakana.

Their hot pot spot will house around 300 guests in a 12,000 square foot space, featuring Korean meats, vegetables, and made-from-scratch sauces, along with Korean inspired cocktails with soju, and they’ll even offer a bubble tea option. They have not released a menu yet.

Although it’s “all-you-can-eat,” it’s not buffet style; patrons will just order whatever sounds good from their server.

Hot pot seems very…well, hot, these days. One Pot, a Chinese hot pot concept, will be opening in a couple of months, and KPOT opened last February.
