Sparano’s Pizza left the storefront it called home for more than a decade–which was located at 3590 Trabue Rd.– earlier this year, and now the eatery has opened the doors of its new home.

According to a post made to Sparano’s Facebook page, the eatery reopened last weekend. Its new storefront is located at 3947 W. Broad St., near the Hollywood Casino Columbus.

Owner Steve Hill told 614Now in an interview last month that Sparano’s moved from its former Trabue Road location as the building was sold. A new development is currently planned for the corner of Trabue Road and Maplewood Drive.

Sparano’s originally opened in 2001 on Hague Avenue, Hill said, before moving to its Trabue Road location in 2011.

The eatery is known for selling Columbus-style pies, including its flagship speciality pizza the Heavy Duty, which includes pepperoni, sausage, ham, onion, mushroom green peppers, banana peppers and extra cheese.
