According to owner Brian O’Connor, Harrison’s on Third is set to shut its doors sometime in January, although an exact date has not been decided.

“I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I’m worn out,” O’Connor said about the closure of the 3rd Avenue spot.

The bar will continue in the interim. Lefty’s Kitchen, which recently took over the kitchen of Harrison’s on Third, will continue to serve food at Harrison’s for the time being as well.

Harrison’s on Third, which is located at 335 W. 3rd Ave., first opened in October of 2008, and quickly became a Victorian Village hub, especially during Buckeyes, Browns and Bengals games. The concept previously operated a second location, Harrison’s on Kenny, which closed for good last May.
