National chain closes central Ohio location, down to one store in Columbus area

Circleville is still home to one of the largest pumpkin festivals in the world, but it’s not longer home to a Del Taco location.

According to signage posted onto the restaurant, the Circleville Del Taco has closed. The eatery was located at 23601 US-23.

It’s unclear exactly when the restaurant shuttered, but a sign on it now reads, “This location is closed.”

The Circleville location of Del Taco originally opened in March of 2021.

The closure of the eatery means Del Taco currently operates only one restaurant in central Ohio, which is located at 4720 E. Main St. in Reynoldsburg. The California-based chain operates two total storefront in the Buckeye State, with one additional restaurant located at 1207 Mt. Vernon Ave. in Marion, about an hour north of Downtown Columbus.
