Bitty & Beau’s is coming to Columbus.

The hugely-popular concept that’s self-described as a “human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop” announced on its Instagram account that its first Columbus location is coming soon.

Yesterday, Bitty & Beau’s teased that a new location announcement was on the way, before naming Columbus as the site of its newest store in a separate post several hours later.

The concept currently operates nearly 20 locations across 11 states and Washington D.C., although this will be its first Ohio storefront. It’s currently unclear where Bitty & Beau’s will be located in Columbus, or when it plans to open.

Featured on a wide variety of platforms and national television shows (founder Amy Wright was also named CNN’S Hero of the Year in 2017), Bitty & Beau’s is well-known for its innovative approach to hiring, as the coffee shop employs people with down syndrome, autism and other conditions, helping to promote their values of inclusivity and acceptance.
