New Chinese BBQ concept coming soon to SoHud neighborhood

A brand new spot for Chinese barbeque is coming soon to the SoHud area.

According to its website and signage posted on the building, Zhu Shi Fu Barbecue will open soon at 2515 Summit St.

The Chinese barbeque spot is taking over the former home of Punk Pigs, a punk rock-themed sandwich shop that closed last October.

According to the new concept’s website, Zhu Shi Fu is slated to open soon, but an exact date has not been announced, and the eatery did not return a request for comment by the time this story was published.

While much of the new restaurant’s menu is currently only posted in Chinese kanji, a small section appears in English appears on its online ordering platform. Interestingly, some of the menu items that appear in English are Tuna Tataki and multiple pasta dishes, including penne, pumpkin ravioli and gnocchi.
