New cidery and winery opening today on property with orchard, lavender field

Central Ohio’s newest craft cidery and winery will officially open its doors today.

According to a press release, The Taphouse at Retreat 21, which is located at the 64-acre Retreat 21 event venue in Marysville, will hold its grand opening celebration June 15-17.

The Retreat 21 Taproom is located at 11433 Industrial Pkwy., near the boundaries between Marysville, Plain City and Dublin.

The new taphouse boasts indoor and outdoor seating, the latter of which offers guests views of rolling hills, a vineyard, orchard and even a culinary lavender field.

Guests will be able to try ciders brewed in-house, a number of wines created by Retreat 21 Wine Co. and speciality cocktails created through a partnership with Watershed Distillery. A variety of yard games and food trucks will also be available.
