New concept serving up to grilled cheese burgers announces grand opening date

If you thought only Five Guys offered grilled cheese burgers, think again.

Smash Buddies, the anticipated new food truck planning to offer smash burgers and grilled cheese smash burgers, announced in late April its plans to open soon, and now we know exactly when. According to a social media statement, the eatery plans to hold its grand opening on June 1.

In a nod toward the minimalist burgers popular on the West Coast where the concept’s founders, a pair of former Army rangers, grew up, Smash Buddies will offer a concise menu with a total of only four items.

The menu will include:

–Smash Burgers (served as a double or triple)
–Smash Burger Grilled Cheese (which is, as you might have guessed, a grilled cheese sandwich featuring a smash burger patty)
–Tots (served hot and seasoned)
–Drinks

On June 1, Smash Buddies will be located at 5933 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin, and you can follow its social media accounts to learn about upcoming locations for the food truck.
