New food hall with Columbus burger concept, pizzeria and extreme milkshake shop opening this week in Zanesville
A new culinary hotspot is set to open its doors to the public later this week.
The Downtown Exchange, the anticipated 8,400 square-foot food hall launched from a historic Downtown Zanesville building, announced it will hold its grand opening on June 8.
“Experience the best 8 (soon to be 9) new restaurants and bar in Zanesville…all in one location beginning this Thursday, June 8th,” a statement from the food hall posted to its social media accounts reads.

The Downtown Exchange, which is located at 527 Main St. in Zanesville, will eventually be home to ten concepts total, although eight are currently signed on. The Columbus-based burger spot Hot Mess will be one of the eateries to call the food hall home. It will also host the following concepts:
- Lucky Jupiter Bar
- Wood’s Meat & Deli
- Chapman’s Coffee
- KIK Extreme Desserts
- Bee Sweet Desserts
- Hayai Hibachi
- Taste of Greece
Food and drink vendors will take up the first floor of The Downtown Exchange. The second floor of the building will feature more than 5,000 square feet of co-working space.
