Old world, new restaurant.

Toni’s Trattoria, a family-owned, old world Italian restaurant has officially opened for business.

The eatery, which held its grand opening on March 23, is located at 19 W. Columbus St. in Galena, approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Columbus.

Toni’s  Trattoria is immediate neighbors with Son of Thurman, the sister location of Thurman Cafe, as well as Galena Diner.

But unlike the giant burgers and short stack diner pancakes sold by the spots nearby, the new restaurant leans into old-world Italian roots. The family-owned eatery features a variety of specialty and hand-tossed pies, in addition to classic pasta dishes like Spaghetti Chittara Carbonara, Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Campanella and much more.

The new Galena restaurant is open Tuesday-Thursday from 4-8 p.m., in addition to Saturday and Sunday, from 4-9 p.m.
