One of Mexico’s most popular ice cream chains opens first central Ohio location

A new Marysville ice cream shop is offering unique treats to combat the summer heat.

Michocán a Pedir de Boca has officially opened the doors of its first central Ohio location. The new ice cream shop is located at 302 E. 5th St. in Marysville.

The concept operates throughout Mexico and the United States, although this is the brand’s first Ohio location.

The new Marysville location of Michoacán a Pedir de Boca offers more than 40 flavors of popsicles, including varieties like Tequila and Almond, Horchata, Hibiscus and more. The shop has its own menu section for sweet and spicy popsicles made with Tajin, including flavors Pineapple, Watermelon and Diablito.

Additionally, more than 40 different varieties of ice cream are avilable, with options like Tamarind, Sweet Corn and Cajeta (Mexican caramel). Milkshakes, mangonada (a cold drink made with mango, chamoy and more) in addition to elote is also available.
