The beer-maker billed as “Toldedo’s original craft brewery,” is coming to the Columbus area for the first time.

Maumee Bay Brewing Co., which also stands as one of The Buckeye State’s oldest craft breweries, will be opening a new taproom and eatery in Powell.

The space, which will be called Shawnee Station Taproom & Kitchen is slated to open this fall in at Shawnee Station, a 14,000 square foot retail plaza that will also feature Boston Stoker Coffee, Holy Moses Salon, Dolce Vida Baby Boutique and other currently undetermined vendors.

The new taproom is slated to open late fall 2023, according to a Shawnee Station Taproom representative. It plans to offer a wide variety of Maumee Brewing beers, in addition to craft cocktails and a full wine list. Lunch and dinner will be served, alongside brunch on the weekends.

Maumee Bay Brewing Co. first opened in Toledo in 1995, and operates as northwest Ohio’s largest craft brewery.
