Marlow’s Cheesesteak launched its first-ever brick and mortar restaurant in Gahanna in the spring of 2022, and just over a year later, the popular cheesesteak spot is bringing another location to Columbus.

Owners and Philadelphia natives Jomar and Shannika Sheppard are opening a Marlow’s location inside Budd Dairy Food Hall.

The eatery will occupy the rotating Hatch kitchen space in Budd Dairy Food Hall, and will open on July 11 at 4 p.m.

“We are excited about sharing our product with Columbus and expanding our brand. We can’t wait for customers to try our authentic cheesesteak,” Jomar Sheppard told 614Now. Sheppard’s uncle will be relocating to Columbus from Birmingham, Alabama to serve as a chef at the new location as well.

In addition to cheesesteaks made using ingredients shipped in fresh from Philly, Marlow’s second location will also sell their Philadelphia-style water ice, a type of fruit-flavored frozen treat, the texture of which falls somewhere between a slushie and sorbet.
