Popular Dublin pizzeria closed for several weeks after fire
A Dublin pizzeria has temporarily shuttered following a fire.
According to statement posted to its social media accounts, Black Dog Pizza will be closed for the next several weeks as damage incurred from a fire late last week is repaired.
“Bummer news. The hot water tank in our shop caught fire yesterday in the early hours of the morning. This caused some wall, ceiling, smoke and fire damage to the shop,” the statement reads.

Black Dog, which is located at 5923 Karric Square Dr. in Dublin, will close for “a few weeks” in order to repair the damage.
The Dublin Pizzeria opened just last summer, but has already become a hotspot for central Ohio pizza lovers, serving up a variety of New York-style pies. While the eatery will close for the immediate, we can at least rest assured that all of its dog-related art pieces and statues were unharmed in the incident.
