Popular fried chicken spot introduces nuggets, offering them for a nickel on one day only

We’re not sure which one is the bigger deal here, the fact that the homegrown fried chicken hub Hot Chicken Takeover is now offering chicken nuggets, or the fact that they’re selling them for just a nickel for one day next week.
Hot Chicken officially announced that, starting yesterday, all of its locations are now carrying nuggets.
“Our Hot Chicken Takeover Nuggets are 100% chicken breast meat, prepared according to our legendary recipe: brined, dredged and then pressure fried to perfection,” a statement posted to Hot Chicken Takeover’s social media accounts reads.

On Nov. 1, all Hot Chicken Takeover locations will be offering their nuggets for just a additional nickel when customers purchase any of their side dishes. Known as Nickel Nugget Night, the deal will run from 5 p.m. until close, or until the eatery sells out of nuggets. The deal is limited to one order of nuggets per customer.
Hot Chicken Takeover operates seven central Ohio locations, with restaurants in Lewis Center, Clintonville, Grandview, the North Market Downtown, Gahanna, Easton and Westerville.
