Columbus restaurant owner allegedly found safe after going missing

Editor’s Update – 3:45pm: Matt Majesky has been found, according to a social media post made by his brother at approximately 3:20pm on October 25th.

11am:
The Columbus community is rallying behind Matt Majesky, who did not show up to open his beloved restaurant, Pierogi Mountain, on Tuesday morning.

Majesky’s family has shared information regarding his disappearance and has asked people to contact officials if they’ve see or hear any information.

“My brother Matt Majesky left for work in Columbus, Ohio this morning, but didn’t arrive,” Matt’s brother’s Instagram post reads. “We haven’t heard from him, and his phone seems to be off. We’re worried. Please be in touch with me or Columbus Police to let us know if you seem him, or hear of him. Feel free to share.”

Matt Majesky left for work in a brown CR-V with a license plate that starts with “GHW” wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, and black New Balance shoes. He wears glasses and has tattoos of Gravy Master and the Pierogi Mountain logo on his arms.

If you have information, please contact Detective Grocki with The Columbus Police Department at (614)-645-4017.

Additionally, please take a close look at the flyer shared on Pierogi Mountain’s social media account.
