Nearly a year after The Rail announced its plans to open an anticipated second location in Grandview, we have a grand opening date.

The popular spot for burgers and craft beer will officially open its new restaurant on March 8, according to a press release from Mike Mariola Restaurants, the ownership group behind the concept.

It will be located at 1064 Dublin Rd., at the northeast corner of Dublin Road and Grandveiw Avenue, within the Grandview Crossing development.

“With the success we’ve seen at our first Columbus-area Rail in Dublin, we are extremely optimistic that Grandview Crossing will drive heavy demand for our concept,” said Mike Mariola, Founder of Mike Mariola Restaurants, in a press release. “We have a passion for creating uniquely crafted, local burgers that pair incredibly well with Ohio-brewed beer.”

The new eatery will boast seating for 150 with 16 TVs, in addition to outdoor patio space complete with multiple fire pits.

First opening in Dublin in 2011, the full-service burger concept drew inspiration from chef and restaurateur Mike Mariola’s City Square Steakhouse in Wooster. The Rail is known for pairing quality burgers with milkshakes, Ohio craft beer, spirits and cocktails.
