Popular Ohio-based bagel shop opening first Columbus location this month

Even before the May 5 grand opening of the newly-updated Jackie ‘s on Fourth, one of the spot’s two new food vendors will be making its Columbus debut.

Jackie O’s is adding a new restaurant from the minds behind Wario’s Beef & pork, in addition to a food cart from popular Athens concept Bagel Street Deli on its spacious patio.

While we don’t have additional details about the new Wario’s concept just yet, Bagel Street Deli plans to open on Jackie O’s Patio on April 21.

“We ARE planning on opening the food cart on April 21st!  Although the JO’s bar will not be open, our food cart – parked right out front –will get started on being open!  People can order and either take the food to go or sit on the patio,” said Bagel Street Deli co-owner Megan McElligott Meyer.

The Athens bagel spot will not offer its full menu, but will serve a selection of its most popular sandwiches, including Tom’s Turkey, MacGyger, Bobcat, Kevorkian, Morning After, OU Bagel, Popeye’s Pleasure and several tofu sandwiches.
