Popular Ohio sandwich concept opening Arena District restaurant this month

A local Peruvian sandwich spot is opening its anticipated second location next weekend.

Si Senior Peruvian Sandwiches, the popular fusion spot that has served Grandview for years, is set to kick off the soft opening of its new Arena District location next weekend.

The new Si Senior storefront will be located at 155 W. Nationwide Blvd.

According to an interview with Si Senior founder Guillermo Perez earlier this year, Perez believes the sandwich concept–which combines classic Peruvian sandwiches and dishes with elements of sandwiches and American cooking–is “intended for a Downtown” or “central area.”

In order to cater to many of the lunch customers in the area, the  new location will offer a smaller menu with fewer sandwiches in order to cut down on wait times.

 Si Senior’s Grandview location, which is located at 1456 W. Ave., will remain open.
