Popular Texas-based taco chain adding Columbus location
While Torchy’s Tacos first-ever Columbus brick and mortar opened just last June, the concept is already planning its third Columbus location.
According to documents filed with the City of Columbus, the popular Austin-based taco spot is coming to the city’s northeast side.
Torchy’s newest Columbus eatery will be located at 6042 N. Hamilton Rd. It’s currently unclear when the new location plans to open.

Torchy’s, which was first opened in Austin, Texas in 2006, features a variety of Tex-Amex cuisine. The concept is best known for offering a wide variety of eclectic and culinary taco options, including ingredients like fried avocado and bacon bourbon marmalade.
Currently, only one Torchy’s Tacos restaurant is open in Columbus, in the Polaris area, although a Dublin storefront is slated to open soon. The N. Hamilton Road eatery will be the brand’s third in Columbus. There are no other Torchy’s Tacos locations in the state of Ohio.
