Six Cbus eateries make it on list of ‘25 Best Places for Chicken Wings in Ohio’

Enjoy Travel set out to find the absolute best chicken wings in Ohio, from fine dining to sports bars and service counters, and they discovered that Columbus is a hotspot for chicken wings packed with flavor.

Out of the supposedly 25 best spots, six Columbus area eateries made it on this travel agency’s list of “25 Best Places for Chicken Wings in Ohio.” Sounds like a perfect excuse for a road trip around town or even the entire state.

#1: Smokey Bones2200 Baltimore Reynoldsburg Rd. Reynoldsburg
“They have that wonderful smokey flavor, with seriously tender and juicy meat,” says Enjoy Travel.

#5: Thurman Cafe183 Thurman Ave.
They’re well known for their burgers, but apparently, their wings are fire, too. Enjoy Travel says, “If boneless chicken wings are your thing (less work and more eating!) then you should try these ones. Tasty beyond belief.”

#9:  Smokehouse Brewing Company1130 Dublin Rd.
Smokehouse Brewing Company serves great beer, but also some brilliantly smoked BBQ. They offer boneless or in-bone Kansas-style BBQ wings, which Enjoy Travel says, “are some of the best chicken wings you’ll ever taste.”

#16:  Shade on the Canal19 S. High St., Canal Winchester
This neighborhood sports bar specializes in comfort food, and there’s nothing more comforting than crisp wings tossed in buffalo sauce, which is one of patrons’ favorite menu items.

#19: OH Pizza & Wings 18 Dillmont Dr.
I personally think some of the best food is served out of a strip mall, and OH Pizza & Wings proves that theory. “The wings are classic in style and they have absolutely nailed them to perfection,” says Enjoy Travel.

#25: Hale’s Ale and Kitchen3641 Fishinger Blvd., Hilliard
This pub turns out some great tavern food, like pizzas, sandwiches, hotdogs, and fish & chips, but Enjoy Travel  says the star of the show is the wings. “Easily some of the best chicken wings in Ohio,” they said.
