Speciality cookie chain known for “stuffed” treats opens first central Ohio location

Jack McLaughlin

A Crumbl competitor bringing some seriously binge-worthy treats has arrived in The Columbus area.

Dirty Dough, the fast-growing chain known for offering cookies with a variety of indulgent fillings, opened its first-ever location in the Columbus area last week.

The sweet shop held its official ribbon cutting on march 24. It is located at 2495 Hilliard Rome Rd., just south of downtown Hilliard on the far west side of Columbus.

While the chain’s presentation and packaging may recall that of the virally-popular Crumbl Cookies, there is still a unique element that sets the new Hilliard spot apart: The fact that its cookies are stuffed.

This include a Cookies n Creme variety with a cream filling, their Reverse Reese’s with a fudge center insane of a peanut butter cookie and the Scotcheroo, a brown sugar vanilla cookie stuffed with peanut butter caramel fudge.

The chain’s new Hilliard location is Dirty Dough’s first in the Columbus area, and the first in the Buck State, although more Ohio locations are coming to Cinncinati soon.
