Taco chain closes Columbus-area location

Yabo’s Tacos has closed its Powell location.

According to Yabo’s social media accounts, the concept shuttered its Powell location and will relocate its operations to Yabo’s Evan’s Farm store.

“Powell friends, thank you for the support over the years. We’ve moved our business to Yabo’s Evan’s Farm,” the statement, which was posted on Sept. 15, reads. “Stay tuned for the latest updates on our journey!”

Yabo’s Tacos Powell storefront was located at 4046 W. Powell Rd. The concept, which is known for its “non-traditional” Tex-Mex offerings, such as Korean Tacos and Street Corn Shrimp Tacos, opened its inside the Evan’s Farm development late last year. It is located at 5915 Evan’s Farm Dr. in Lewis Center.

Currently, the chain operates location in Westerville and Hilliard, in addition to its new Evans Farm restaurant.
