The first-ever German Village Apple Fest to be held next month

A new fall festival is on the way to German Village.

The first-ever German Village Makers Market Apple Fest will be held on Oct. 22 at the corner of City Park Avenue and Thurman Avenue.

The event, which is slated to run from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. will be free and open to all ages.

The first Apple Fest will be feature 70 local makers, in addition to a variety of games, prizes, merchandise, a creative takeover by local artist and designer Collin Williams, in addition to plenty of apple-focused food and drinks. Lynd’s Fruit Farm has signed on as an official event partner.

In addition to hosting four food trucks, the event will also offer a number of seasonal and apple-focused foods, including apple cider, waffles, kettle corn, Schmidt’s cream puffs and more.
