The Columbus Mac & Cheese Festival is set to return to the Arch City later this year.

The event, now in its sixth year, will be held at Easton Town Center on Friday, Oct. 6, from 4-7:30 p.m.

The festival plans to “delight your tastebuds” with mac & cheese samples from eateries around the city, in addition to a vibrant atmosphere that will include live music, kid-friendly activities, raffles and more.

And while getting together to try some of the city’s best mac & cheese sounds like something worth do in its own right, the Columbus Mac & Cheese Fest comes together every year for a cause that’s much more important: fighting cancer.

To date, the event has partnered with The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center to raise more than $350,000 for adolescent and young adult cancer research and programming. This year, the festival hopes to raise $100,000.
