Beta said that when she attended Miami University, the most popular spot to eat was a deli and bagel shop, and her and Cockburne (the name Cocky’s is a play on his last name) wanted to create a similar style of eatery. Cocky’s opened its first location in 2019, and today the concept operates a pair of Cleveland locations and a food truck.
Patrons can opt for sandwiches like the Steak Egg ‘N Cheese, the Hot Italian, Blt and many more.
The new Columbus bagel shop will be open 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The first 50 customers at Cocky’s during their grand opening this weekend will receive a free shirt.
