This Ohio-based taco shop chain is coming to Powell

Victor’s Taco Shop, the popular Delaware, Ohio-based chain of taco restaurants, has expanded to Dayton, Xenia and Lima, and now it’s preparing to add a brand-new central Ohio location.

According to a statement posted to Victor’s social media accounts, the concept will be opening a restaurant in Powell on Feb. 17. The new Victor’s Taco Shop will be located at 3450 O’Connell St.

The family-owned brand is known for its tacos, which feature a variety of preparations, including carnitas, steak, chorizo and birria. Burritos, quesadillas, tostados, salad bowls and more are also available.

The Powell storefront will be Victor’s nearest location to Downtown Columbus. The only other Victor’s Taco Shop in central Ohio is its Delaware restaurant, which is located at 186 S. Sandusky St.

The concept has been growing quickly. Last year alone, Victor’s launched storefronts in Dayton, Lima and Monroe.
