This Ohio city was named one of the country’s 10 best food cities by ‘Travel & Leisure’

While many will pound the table for the Columbus food scene, it was another Ohio city that Travel & Leisure recently tapped as a top-10 food city in the nation.

According to the Travel & Leisure story, which was published earlier this year, Cleveland is one of the country’s 10 best culinary destinations.

With New York, Louisiana and Chicago claiming the list’s top three respective spots, Cleveland landed at number seven, immediately below Tucson, Arizona, and one spot above Asheville, North Carolina.

Here’s what Travel & Leisure had to say about Cleveland:

This Midwestern city has a severely underrated albeit eclectic food scene fueled by nearby farms, local producers, and trailblazing chefs. Moreover, it’s safe to say Cleveland’s culinary scene pays homage to the 100-plus diverse ethnicities that make up the city,” the story reads.

The Travel & Leisure list went on to name a handful of the city’s go-to spots for interested foodies. And while we might be a touch bitter that Columbus didn’t make the top 10, a Polish Boy from Steve’s Diner does sound pretty good right about now.
