Unique Taiwanese street food-themed restaurant chain opening first Columbus location

Yong Kang Street is considered to be the best, coolest street in Tawain for foodies and adventurous eaters alike, so it’s only fitting that Columbus’ newest Asian concept is named after it.

Yong Kang Street is opening at 1576 N. High St. in Gateway, according to city liquor permits. They first applied for a permit back in 2019, and planned to open then, but 4 years later, and it appears that it’s finally happening!

This eatery is a reflection of Tawainese and Chinese food, modeled after what you’d see on Yongkang Street: noodles, dumplings, fried rice, ramen, dim sum, and dishes straight from the wok, as well as Asian beers and wine. They’ve been featured in numerous Eater publications for their delectable, traditional dim sum and dumplings.

There are other locations around the U.S., mostly in New York, and the chain is well known for their dim lit paper lanterns that encapsulate a night out getting noodles in Tawain.
