World-famous brewery is opening second airport location ever in Columbus
Have you ever prayed for a delay? No? Well, you just might, now.
First, BrewDog opened their first-ever USA brewery in Columbus. Then, they opened their first-ever Beer Hotel in Columbus. Now, they’re opening their second-ever airport location, and choosing Columbus for it (the first being in their homeland of Edinburgh, Scotland).
According to recently filed city permits, BrewDog is planning on opening a location inside the John Glenn International Airport, right next to the already existing Bob Evans.
When they first opened a space in the Edinburgh airport, they announced that they wanted to change the way people view airport bars. “For too long, airport bars have just been places to get the beers in before the gate closes, or a method of coping with the journey ahead. We hate this. We believe airport bars should serve amazing beer, in the right way,” says their website.

So, they created their version of a perfect airport bar – with food options like cheese boards, warm pretzels, and German sausages, plus 13 draft beers and a ton of canned options, too. While details of the Columbus location have not emerged yet, such as their finalized food and drink menu, we do know one thing: it’s bound to be good, in true BrewDog fashion.
There are currently four other Brewdog standalone locations throughout Central Ohio – one in Canal Winchester, one in the Short North, another in Franklinton, and lastly, New Albany.
