An Ohio couple with the same birthday gives birth to twins—on their birthday
One Ohio family can rest assured no one’s birthday will be forgotten, because everyone was born on the same.
On Aug. 18, Scierra Blair, with her fiancé Jose Ervin Jr., gave birth to a pair of fraternal twins. While the twins naturally share the same birthday, both Scierra and Jose do as well, and it’s also on Aug. 18.
According to a story from People, José Ervin III was born at 12:35 a.m. and Ar’ria Lannette Ervin was born one minute later at 12:36 a.m. Both babies weighed just over five pounds. The twins were born at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital.

Originally, the twins were due at the end of the month, on Aug. 28.
According to a WOIO Cleveland 19 News report, when Scierra went into labor on Aug. 17, the original plan was to deliver the twins that day. Some opportunities, though, are too good to pass up.
“They were going to bring them in on Aug. 17 so we said ‘let’s just wait until midnight,” Ervin Jr. told News 19.
