Long-standing Ohio lights display named one of the country’s top holiday experiences for 2023

According to a Smokymountains.com story that polled thousands of tourist reviews from across the country, the Historic Clifton Mill is one of the country’s top holiday experiences.

The story, which used thousands reviews from tourist across the country, named Historic Clifton Mill as the best holiday display in Ohio, and one of the country’s best.

The Ohio mill was joined on the list by iconic holiday attractions like Rockefeller Center, the Biltmore and more. An attraction from each state was named, but each one was not ranked numerically.

Each year, Clifton Mill features a massive holiday display featuring more than four million lights, illuminating the mill and surrounding landscape.

The Historic Clifton Mill, which is located at 75 Water St. in Clifton, Ohio, is approximately one hour away from Downtown Columbus. The site is also home to a restaurant, country store, and covered bridge.
