New study lists Ohio as one of the country’s “laziest” states
A new data study has declared that the Buckeye State is one of the “laziest” in the country.
In the study, online fitness publication TotalShape.com analyzed America’s Health Rankings data about the most and least physically active states in the country. Specifically, the study considers the percentage of a states’ population who reported performing no physical activity outside of their jobs in the last 30 days.
According to the data, Ohio ranked as one of the country’s least physically active states, coming in as the 10th “laziest” with 25.9 percent of people performing physical activity outside of work in the last month.

The Buckeye State ranked just ahead of Maine, where 26.5 percent of individuals reported doing no physical activity outside of work in the last month.
In case you were wondering, the country’s “laziest” state was Alabama, where 31.5 percent of individuals reported performing no activity outside of work in the past 30 days.
