Vintage clothing concept opens near German Village

The highly coveted, perfect pair of vintage Levi’s can now be found on Parsons Avenue thanks to Shayla Boyd. Her brand new storefront, Street2Vintage, specializes in second-hand 70’s-2000’s apparel, where you can find a variety of trendy, vintage graphic t-shirts, jeans, plus much more, in both men’s and women’s styles.

Shayla knew that she had quite the eye for second-hand style when people would stop her in her tracks to ask if they could buy the clothes she was wearing. Like many Columbus vintage connoisseurs, Shayla kicked off her career by selling her treasures online and at markets. She fortunately found the perfect storefront for her enormous inventory on Parsons, right across from German Village. “I finalized my decision of opening on Parsons because I’ve seen the growth that’s already happened over the years, and I can see the potential in this area,” she says.

Street2Vintage is highly curated with the customer in mind. Shayla is an aspiring stylist, and everything in her store is hand-picked to reflect the coolest trends that she knows would look great on her patrons. “I really take pride in being different from what’s already here in the city,” she explains.

You can check out her hidden gems for yourself Tuesday-Sunday, 12-6, at 796 Parsons Avenue or see a sneak peak of her finds on the Street2Vintage Instagram account. Shayla will also be offering an exclusive selection at the Ohio Vintage Expo on May 20th.
