From CoronaRitas to Fajita Nachos, El Vaquero offers inventive riffs on restaurant classics

It’s a difficult decision we all have to face: Whether to stick with a Corona, or go in on a margarita. The good news is that, at El Vaquero locations across Columbus, you don’t have to choose between the two.

El Vaquero’s CoronaRita is an example of the local Mexican spot’s willingness to push the boundaries of flavorful drinks and dishes, and it’s far from the only one. The drink, –as you guessed–combines a Corona with one of EL Vaquero’s famous margaritas.

Joining the CoronaRita among the restaurant’s unique culinary cocktails is the Jalisco Mule, a south of the border riff on the Moscow mule that features Patron Tequila Reposado, ginger beer, fresh lime juice, and a lime wedge garnish.

A handful of unique dishes compliment El Vaquero’s creative cocktails as well.

Their Enchilada Cazeroles (served with a trio of enchiladas packed with chicken, beef or pork), are topped with a special red sauce, sour cream and green onions. Fajita Nachos combine the best of two classic dishes, topping a bed of crunchy, salty tortilla chips with your choice of protein, alongside onions, peppers and more.
