This Columbus Distillery has ‘The Best Blended Whiskey in America,’ according to competition
Columbus’ distilleries and breweries are really making a name for themselves lately, and there’s one in particular that’s won so many awards that they’ve been awarded “The Most Awarded Distillery in the World.” (Now, try to say that 10 times fast.)
Congratulations to High Bank Distillery for its numerous accolades and accomplishments, including winning this year’s “Best Blended Whiskey in America” at New York World Spirits Competition with their Whiskey War Barrel Proof blend.
Among this award, they won 8 other medals, 4 of them being double golds, making them the most awarded distillery at this competition (and, apparently, the entire world).

High Bank Distillery also won Best Blended Whiskey in 2021, 2022, and 2023 at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
To score these whiskeys, “industry professionals try hundreds of spirits per category. If a spirit receives a high score, it is award a gold. These winning spirits are tasted again. If a spirit receives multiple high scores it is then awarded a double gold,” their website explains.
