Anticipated ice cream shop opening this week and giving away free scoops

I scream, you scream, we all scream for free Johnson’s Real Ice Cream!

Some of you won’t have to make the trek out East to Bexley or North to Dublin and New Albany to get your Johnson’s fix anymore – their new Grandview location, which was announced last September, is opening this week.

On March 21, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., you and your family can stop into Johnson’s Grandview shop, located at 1325 Grandview Ave. This grand opening commemoration will be complete with free, single scoops of ice cream of your choice!

Johnson’s Real Ice Cream has been a family establishment here in the central Ohio community for over 70 years. Their first ice cream shop opened in Bexley in 1950, and four generations later, Johnson’s is rapidly expanding to other neighborhoods and suburbs throughout the region.
