Home Depot offers a free building workshop for kids each month
There’s a chance for your kids to safely work with hammers and tools to construct fun items of their own!
On the first Saturday of every month, from 9am – 12pm, Home Depot offers a completely free workshop centered around ages 5-12 (but all ages are welcome), where each child receives tools, supplies, and detailed directions to start building their own creation.

It’s also educational – the staff explains what each tool is and does, and this hands-on experience encourages kids to follow steps in chronological order.
With their free registration, each child receives their own apron, a certificate of achievement, a pin to collect on their apron, plus a free snack and juice.
March 2nd’s project is a Butterfly House! You can register here. And if you can’t make it, you can pick up to-go kits at your local Home Depot while supplies last.
