Since 2001, Rosemary Velasquez has been pampering her Columbus customers with facials, massages, and helping them indulge in self-care.

Now, Velasquez’ family is asking Columbus to help out Rosemary and her spa, A Spirit’s Touch, located at 4042 North High St.

On September 6, Rosemary was unfortunately struck by an SUV while waiting at a stop sign on her bike while taking a bike ride through Clintonville. According to the family’s statement, “The driver hit Rosemary’s head, flipping her off the bike,” resulting in multiple injuries.

A Spirit’s Touch, which has been open for 23 years, will be closing indefinitely while Rosemary heals from her critical injuries. She had her second surgery this week.
If you’d like to contribute towards Rosemary’s medical bills and loss of income from her spa having to close, and help out the family, here’s the GoFundMe page.
