Independent bookstore featuring rare, vintage, and first-edition novels opening in the heart of Clintonville soon
A bibliophile’s dream will very soon come true.
An anticipated bookstore is opening in the heart of Clintonville, featuring new, used, and vintage books for readers of all ages. Clintonville Books, located at 3286 N. High St., is opening November 29 at 10 a.m., for all of those who prefer a different kind of Black Friday experience.
“I believe we all expand into the spaces we create for ourselves. I also know I’m happiest when I’m growing and learning new things. While all of my friends know I collect books, it wasn’t until I had the opportunity to visit independent bookstores across the country on my book tour in 2019 that I fell in love with opening one,” said the owners of Clintonville Books, Grant & Erin, who reside in Clintonville where they’re raising their 18 month old daughter.

The couple moved to Clintonville from New York in 2020, and they said they fell in love with the neighborhood, the people, and all of the local shops. And now, they’re one step closer to being part of the booming neighborhood.
“I’m honored to serve you and the community as a bookseller as we all grow and expand together. Life is too short to settle. I’m following my heart here,” said an Instagram post.
Clintonville Books will offer anything from first editions of Jack Kerouc novels with gorgeous illustrative covers, to signed copies of Martha Stewart’s autobiography. They’ll also buy people’s collections if you’re looking to slim down your book shelves.
We can’t wait to visit!
