National discount retail store opening two Cbus locations for first time

For the first time ever, a popular, growing discount furniture chain is opening in Columbus this year. If anyone is sick & tired of ordering furniture online, only for it to come broken or unusable, this will be a great alternative.

Bob’s Discount Furniture, which specializes in affordable home goods and furnishings for almost every room in the house, is opening its first two stores on August 30th, according to a media spokesperson at Bob’s.

 One store will be located at 1245 Polaris Parkway, taking over the former Big Lots, and another at 2686 Taylor Road in Reynoldsburg, moving into the space that once housed a Babies ‘R’ Us.

The popular chain first started in 1991, and there’s now 176 stores across the nation, with eight other stores throughout Ohio. Here, you can buy cheap but reliable sofas, mattresses, area rugs, mirrors, and so much more.

And as always, just like at every store, you’ll be able to enjoy free cookies, coffee, candy, and ice cream at their Columbus cafes located inside the furniture stores while planning out your dream home.
