New vintage store and gift shop opens in former beloved pizza restaurant

A brand new shop for vintage decor, cute trinkets and gifts, and local handmade goods just opened their doors in Clintonville.

Alchemy + Fortune is located at 2928 North High St., and if the checkered floors look a little familiar to you, that’s because it’s in the former home of Gatto’s Pizza, who opened their first pizza shop there in 1952! (Gatto’s relocated to 3420 Indianola Ave. in 2022).

At this new Clintonville shop, you’ll find 10+ Columbus curators and artists selling their own wares, collections, art, crafts, and vintage goods, all under one run roof. “During the last few years, we’ve been lucky enough to befriend shop owners, vintage collectors, and artists from all over Cbus that repeatedly told us how they couldn’t find room for their stuff outside of nomadic fleas and markets year round, and we thought why not about taking the leap to showcase folks, sell our stuff, and keep raising some funds for places we love,” says A+F’s website.
