Columbus brewery hosting rock paper scissors tournament

Is rock paper scissors really just a game of chance, or is it a deeply psychological battle requiring serious preparation with strategic forethought?

Later this month, we can find out once and for all.

Seventh Son is returning its Unauthorized, Non-Sanctioned, International Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, which has been hosted by the Columbus craft brewery over the last several years. You can register for the tournament, which costs $10, here. The event will take place on July 21 at 1 p.m. on the upstairs patio of Seventh Son.

While winning means claiming serious bragging rights, and being able to convince your friends that rock paper scissors is, in fact, a skill-based game, the top three finishers will also land some cool prizes.

Third Place: Bronze medal, $10 Seventh Son gift card, $10 Watershed gift card, swag from event sponsors and a six-pack of your choice.

Second Place: Silver medal, $25 Seventh Son gift card, $25 Watershed gift card, swag from event sponsors and a six-pack of your choice.
