The OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon is on the horizon, and now it’s not just Columbus’ attention the event has caught.

Slated to take place on April 27, the Cap City Half was nominated as one of country’s best half marathons in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice awards.

“Called the “best tour of Columbus on two feet,” you’ll get to see all the highlights of Ohio’s capital and tour its diverse neighborhoods as the half marathon winds its way through downtown,” USA Today says about the event. “Perhaps even better than the race itself is the finish line, where a party and post-race concert takes place, with bottles of Corona, margaritas, chicken wings, and pizza as just part of the festivities.”

A total of 20 half marathons from across the country were selected as finalists. You can see the full list here.

You can vote for the race, which was in second place out of 20 total marathons at the time this story was published, here. Voting ends on March 25 and the winner will be announced on April 5.
