New Short North event brings mini golf into High Street bars

What’s better than bar-hopping through the Short North with friends? How about playing multiple holes of mini golf along the way?

(614)’s new Short North Mini Golf event–which is presented by Jim Beam–will combine a day patronizing some of the Short North’s best bars with a handful of unique mini golf courses created specifically for the event.

Short North Mini Golf will take place on July 13 from 1-5 p.m. You can purchase tickets, which cost $10, here.

Nine unique mini golf courses (one at each bar) can be found at the following locations:

• Bodega
• Bristol republic
• Fours on High
• Goody Boy 
• Oddfellows Liquor Bar
• Short North Pint House 
• Standard Live
• Standard Hall
• Union

Patrons must purchase a ticket to the event to try their hand at the mini golf courses. Trophies, prizes and drink specials will also be available throughout the event, and visitors are also invited to an afterparty at Standard Live, which begins at 5 p.m.
