70 year old pizza chain abruptly closes solo central Ohio location due to ‘lack of sales’
After a decade here in central Ohio, a 70 year old pizza chain is closing their solo central Ohio location. “Thank you to everyone who supported us over the past 10 years,” said LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria.
On September 1, LaRosa’s sent out an email to their customers, explaining that they decided to close their Dublin pizzeria immediately, which was located at 7048 Hospital Dr.

“We made so many great friends in Dublin who welcomed us and made us feel a part of the community,” said LaRosa’s in a statement. “We’d also like to thank all our Team Members who did their very best to make our Dublin pizzeria successful. In the end, sales just didn’t meet our expectations.”
A large number of remaining LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria restaurants can still be found in Ohio, but you’ll have to make the trek out to Cincinnati or Dayton for their famous crispy, hand-tossed pizzas.
