A festival dedicated to chicken and beer is coming to Columbus

Jack McLaughlin

Local food trucks serving a variety of chicken dishes, Columbus craft beer and live music? Count us in.

This year, the annual Chicken & Beer Festival is coming to the Arch City on June 1 at Dodge Park.

Every year, organizers select 10 of their favorite central Ohio food trucks, and each one serves a unique chicken dish for the festival, whether that means jerk or fried chicken. Vegetarian options will also be available.

This year’s food truck lineup has not yet been released.

On top of some of the best chicken in the city, the festival will also offer live music throughout the day, “classic cookout games,” interactive art, and even a Merchant’s Mall with 50 different artisans and vendors and, of course, plenty of local craft beer.
