After temporary closure and fire, pizza is back at this central Ohio eatery

While Benny’s Pizza Pub & Patio in Marysville announced last week that it was open for dine-in customers following an early March fire at its carryout building, Benny’s is now once again serving pizza.

In a post made to its social media pages on Monday that its regular pizza offerings are now available.

“We are proud to announce, it’s pizza time! Our traditional pizza dough is back in our dining room,” the post reads.

Last week, Benny’s announced that it was open to dine-in customers. While many of the restaurant’s menu items were available last week, pizzas could only be purchased on a cauliflower crust.

In the early hours of March 1, a fire broke out at Benny’s carry-out building, which is located at 972 Columbus Ave. in Marysville. The eatery’s main building and dining room is located at 968 Columbus Ave. in Marysville, next door to its takeout building. According to Chief Nathan Burns of the Marysville Fire Division, no one was injured in the fire, which was caused by “smoldering towels”.
